Wimbledon Bridge House – Phase 1
Working with our architects TP Bennett, we delivered a project in which the emphasis was on the high specification of the materials used and the superior quality of the finish. Our well established supply chain logistics and long term partnership work allowed us to source the quality and variety of solutions required to meet client expectations, including the use of Glass Reinforced Conrete (GRC) and Glass Reinforced Gypsum (GRG). LED illuminated panels were utilised to create feature interest on the walls and ceilings, and specialist finish Purbeck stone was employed to create a luxurious feel throughout the reception and on to the atrium area. Schucco Analok glazing systems and Slimfit glazed sliding doors completed the high end transformation.
Larger scale undertakings included work on speed gates and electrical and mechanical systems, and our close partnership with the client’s professional team allowed us to complete all work within the budget and timescale specified. In total, the project cost £1.1m and was completed within 16 weeks, and throughout this period the building in question was still able to operate as a live environment catering to 1500 staff and visitors daily.
